Jimmy Butler Is the Guy

In what has been the most exciting off-season in NBA history, Jimmy Butler is awaiting the challenge of playing with a young, but talented Minnesota Timberwolves roster who have almost zero playoff experience collectively. Recent posts on social media have shown Jimmy Butler training for the season, and he appears to be in the best shape of his entire life. Jimmy Butler is the perfect veteran that the Timberwolves needed to take the next step and make the NBA Playoffs for the first time in a little over a decade. His impact on both ends of the floor will help show Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Muhammad just how important playing both ends of the floor are.

The Wolves may have had one of the most athletic teams in the entire NBA last season, but the inexperience was evident. They lost a lot of close games, blew a lot of leads, and played some of the worst defense in the entire NBA last season. Jimmy Butler is the perfect two way star the Wolves needed to take the next step this season.

While losing Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn will be tough for many of the Wolves players, they will soon be thanking the Wolves front office for pulling off an awesome move like this for the benefit of the team. Butler already appears to be focused on making a run this season with the Wolves, and this is a good sign because he needs to be their best player this season.

Some people would argue that Karl-Anthony Towns is the most important player for the Wolves, but what these people do not understand is that the NBA is all about having elite guard play these days. While the Wolves lost three solid guards in Rubio, Dunn, and Lavine, having Butler is way more important and crucial than having this trio of guards in Minnesota. Butler looks great in his recent workouts, and T-Wolves fans can bet that he will be the best player for them this season in his inaugural season in Minnesota .
