Chicago Bears rookies are reporting to camp as the anticipation of QB Mitch Trubisky’s signing has lingered around. The wait finally ended yesterday when Trubisky officially singed with the Chicago Bears.
His four-year rookie deal is reported to be worth $29 million guaranteed with a $19.25 signing bonus per Bleacher Report. It also includes a fifth-year option and an exercise option after the 2019 season. All rookies have now been signed and are ready to get to work.
Trubisky was taken by Ryan Pace in the first round after trading up with the 49ers to get him number two overall. Being the future face of the franchise, he will officially begin his development now that he is locked up. He will be working in conditioning with the other rookies before they meet up in Bourbonnais with the rest of the players next week.
The other rookies along side Trubisky include RB Tarik Cohen, TE Adam Shaheen and DL Rashaad Coward.
